6. 👩⚕️ Melinda French Gates Launched A $250M Women’s Health Fund
Fresh off her departure from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in June, Melinda French Gates has announced “Action for Women’s Health,” a new $250 million fund to improve women’s mental and physical health. The new effort, a fund through her organization Pivotal Ventures, is currently seeking interested organizations to apply for a share of the funding.
7. 💊 Amazon Pharmacy Is Coming For Walgreens & CVS
Amazon just announced plans to add 20 new pharmacies to its national network next year, allowing nearly half of U.S. residents to get access to same-day delivery of prescriptions by the end of 2025. This is a major shift as other national pharmacy chains like Walgreens and CVS have been downsizing.
