Good evening!
Taking a general poll: is chili a soup, or a stew?
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 🚨Google Launched an Extensions System for Coding Tool
Google officially launched a new feature for its command-line AI system (Gemini CLI) that allows outside companies to integrate directly into the product. The feature, Gemini CLI Extensions, is launching with extensions from Figma, Stripe, and others. The announcement comes on the coattails of ChatGPT’s recent app integration; but the key difference is that unlike ChatGPT, Gemini CLI Extensions can be published without any endorsement or participation from Google. 2. ⏰ The C-Suite is Losing 10+ Hours a Week to Meeting Prep
Web searches, LinkedIn scans, browsing past meeting notes, digging through emails... Executives are buried in prep work before the real work even begins.
The Ambient Daily Briefing flips the script: every morning, you get a one-page, AI-Powered, presidential-style briefing based on your calendar, sourced while you sleep by an AI briefing agent. No noise, just the context you need to win the day, and walk into every meeting prepared, focused, and sharp.
3. 💊 Now You Can Get Your Prescription Drugs From a Vending Machine
Amazon announced that it’s rolling out prescription vending machines at its OneMedical clinics. The in-office kiosks, which are operated by Amazon Pharmacy, allows patients to pick up their perscriptions immediatley after their appointment. These kiosks will be available at the OneMedical locations in L.A. in the coming months, and Amazon plans to expand to other cities soon after. (Tech Crunch)
4.🚨Your Competitors are Getting Subscribers for Under $1
While you’re paying $3–$5 per subscriber, others are snapping up engaged readers for under $1. Traffic Grid finds newsletter lovers using [intent signals] before your rivals do.
No wasted ad spend, no guesswork, just data-driven growth that works.
5. 🪐 Verizon Signed a Deal with SpaceMobile to Offer Cell Service From Space
Verizon not only has the best coverage in the country, it might now have the best in the galaxy. The cellular company signed a deal with SpaceMobile that aims to bring direct-to-service connection via space to cell phone users on Verizon plans. The coverage is expected to go into effect starting next year. Interestingly, AST’s stocks climbed about 12% in midday trading, while Verizon’s dipped. (CNBC)
6. 🥇Gold is Valued at $4,000 for the First Time in History
Gold surged past the $4,000 an ounce level for the first time today, a record-breaking amount for the metal. Analysts say that this is a reflection of the uncertain economic times and the desire for safe haven assets as a result. Gold is up more than 50% since the beginning of the year, making it one of the best-performing assets in 2025. (Morning Brew)
7. 📣 OpenAI Announced Agent Kit, Apps SDK, ChatGPT, and more at DevDay
