Good Evening!

No offense to anyone who bought the iPhone Pocket, but we’re a little more excited about today’s Apple launch.

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1. 💰 Anthropic is Commiting $50Bn to Building U.S. Data Centers

Looks like 2026 is going to be an ambitious year for AI in the United States. Claude-creator Anthropic announced it’s signed a new data center partnership with U.K.-based neocloud provider Fluidstack, committing $50 billion to building facilities across Texas and New York to meet its growing compute needs in the new year. 2. 🪚 Build Apps with Precision and Speed

Rocket is a $15M-funded startup pioneering Vibe Solutioning, turning your ideas into production-ready web and mobile apps. Start with a prompt or Figma design, then use / and @ commands to execute common tasks precisely and efficiently. Context-aware builds cover Day 0 (solutioning), Day 1 (getting started), and Day 2 (iterations, integrations, deployments). Build faster, scale confidently, and keep full control over your code. Perfect for CEOs, founders, and product teams who want to innovate without waiting on lengthy engineering cycles.

3. 🪪 Apple Launched a TSA-Approved Digital ID

The iPhone Pocket isn’t the only thing Apple’s debuting this week. The tech company is launching Digital IDs, a feature that allows you to create and store an ID in Apple Wallet using your U.S. passport. According to the announcement, Digital ID acceptance will begin to “roll out first” at TSA checkpoints for domestic travel in over 250 airports across the U.S. (The Verge)

4. 👀 Report: Your Paid Media Team Can’t Win Alone

Scaling modern e-commerce requires an integrated growth engine. Think creative that converts, SEO that ranks, affiliates that influence, and retail media that captures demand.

Deodato’s team works as a hybrid agency + consultancy. They’re hands-on with your campaigns, while advising at the strategy level on acquisition, revenue growth, and profitability.

They’re high-touch, tailored to your brand, and relentless about results.

Whether you call it a freeway or a highway, Waymo’s robotaxis will now take passengers on them in San Francisco, Phoenix, and Los Angeles markets “when a freeway route is meaningfully faster.” The expansion is the first time the Alphabet-owned company will take public riders on higher speed limits than smaller highways and side streets. Accel Partners is known for their early bets on Facebook, Dropbox, and Atlassian… is this their next smash hit? 7. 🩱 Skims Hits $5Bn Valuation With $225M Funding Round

Have you been keeping up with the Kardashians? Because Kim’s Skims brand just raised $225 million in new funding led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, valuing the shapewear and apparel company at $5 billion. The deal marks one of the largest private raises for a U.S. consumer brand this year and comes as Skims approaches $1 billion annual net sales, just six years after its 2019 launch. (CNBC)
