Good Evening!

Are you planning on using ChatGPT to do your Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping?

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1. 🛒 Target is Opening its Next Store in ChatGPT

Target hasn’t been doing well in recent quarters, but maybe its next store has promise. The retailer is launching a beta test next week to turn OpenAI’s assistant into a personal shopper that can assemble multi-item carts, handle fresh groceries, and funnel orders to the nearest store. (Quartz)

2. 🎯 Let’s Talk Brand, C-Suite to C-Suite

If your team isn’t aligned on the message, your market won’t be either. That misalignment slows growth, weakens your position, and disrupts the buyer journey.

Big shakeup for your marketing team. Well, that’s quite the tune. Suno, which allows anyone to create AI-generated songs through prompts (and has been battling a copyright suit by three major record labels), has raised a $250 million Series C round at a $2.45 billion post-money valuation. (TechCrunch)

6. ✌️ Meta’s Chief AI Scientist is Crafting His Own Startup

Meta’s losing its Chief AI Scientist. Yann LeCun, known as one of the godfathers of modern artificial intelligence and one of the first AI visionaries to join the company then known as Facebook, is leaving to create his own startup that specializes in AI tech “that understand the physical world, have persistent memory, can reason, and can plan complex action sequences.” (CNBC)

7. 🚕 Tesla is Bringing its Robotaxis to Arizona

Arizonans, take note. Tesla received a ride-hailing permit this week from Arizona regulators, the final regulatory step for the automaker to begin launching a robotaxi service in the state. Of note, Waymo has operated a robotaxi service in the Phoenix area since 2018 covering 315 square miles in the greater metro area. (TechCrunch)
