1.  💰 FTX Will Pay Back Most Creditors

Failed crypto exchange FTX says they have recovered enough assets to pay back most of its credits in full. The plan still needs to be approved by the U.S. court, but it would resolve its disputes without major headaches.

2.  🥶 Tesla Started Major Hiring Freeze

As of May 1, more than 3,400 jobs were posted across the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Puerto Rico. As of today? Just three positions. The company does still have job postings on LinkedIn, but most are in China and Europe.

3. 📉 Shopify Shares Plunged 19%

eCommerce company Shopify released revenue and profit guidance for the current quarter that clearly resonated poorly with investors. While Q1 results were better than expected, the current quarter had shares tumbling, resulting in a $20 billion reduction in the company’s value.

Nearly two years after the app was relaunched as a digital wallet platform in the U.S., Google Wallet launched its service in India with local integrations. The app exists alongside the Google Pay App, contrary to its merge in the U.S.
