6. 🧑‍⚖️ Google Has Been Ordered to Pay $314M to California Android Users

A California jury awarded $314.6 million in damages to Android users, ruling that Google harvested idle-device cellular data without consent. Google plans to appeal, calling the verdict a misinterpretation of essential Android functions. (Reuters)

7. 📺 Amazon is Shutting Down Freevee in August

Amazon is discontinuing its Freevee TV streaming app in August, though all its ad-supported programming will stay accessible via the Prime Video app to consolidate its content offerings. (CNBC)
