Nine-year-old Uber-backed scooter and bike company Lime started trading today on the Nasdaq under the ticker “LIME” with shares jumping around 9% in the first hour. The company raised $167 million in its IPO, selling 6.68 million shares at $25 each and putting its valuation at around $1.66 billion. (TechCrunch)

3. 🥄 Bending Spoons Raised $1.68Bn IPO at $18.4Bn Valuation
Speaking of IPOs… Bending Spoons, the Italian company that owns AOL, Vimeo, and Evernote, priced its Nasdaq IPO at $29/share, valuing the company at roughly $18.4 billion. The company sold roughly 58 million shares to both returning and first-time investors, generating proceeds of $1.68 billion. (Quartz)

Known for its AI neocloud that rents out Nvidia GPU clusters and other AI-specific infrastructure, startup Together AI has raised an $800 million Series C at an $8.3 billion valuation. The round, led by Aramco Ventures, comes just 16 months after the startup’s $305 million Series B at a $3.3 billion valuation. (TechCrunch)

7. 💰 Ashton Kutcher is Launching a New VC Firm
11 years ago, Ashton Kutcher co-founded Sound Ventures with Guy Oseary. Now, he’s leaving that firm to start a separate VC firm with Morgan Beller, a former general partner at seed-focused VC firm NFX and co-leader of cryptocurrency project Libra at Meta. The move to the unnamed firm doesn’t seem to be a sign of trouble at Sound Ventures as it’s had success backing companies like Brex and Gusto. (TechCrunch)
