California’s DMV said that the company misled drivers with the names of its driver-assistance software that still needs a human in the driver’s seat. And now, Tesla has 60 days to either drop the Autopilot label or risk a 30-day suspension of its California dealer license. (Quartz)

Huge news in higher education today. Two of the biggest names in online learning, Coursera and Udemy, have entered into a landmark merger agreement valued at approx. $2.5 billion. Coursera will acquire Udemy in an all-stock transaction and the merger is expected to be finalized in the second half of next year, pending regulatory review and shareholder approval. (TechCrunch)

If you’re a user of Cisco’s AsyncOS software, take note. The company announced Chinese hackers are exploiting a critical vulnerability in some of its most popular products that allows the full takeover of affected devices. The worst part? There are n patches available at this time. (TechCrunch)
