Good evening!
Everyone be nice to Jules, the new AI coding bot in town.
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 🤑 Apple is Investing Another $100Bn to Avoid U.S. Tariffs
Well, that’s one workaround. Apple announced plans to invest an additional $100 billion in the U.S. in addition to its already $500 billion U.S. investment. The move comes following a raise on tariffs on India, where Apple heavily relies on manufacturers for its iPhone, by an additional 25%. (Engadget)

You could spend hours writing posts that go nowhere...or, like top founders and CEOs, you could let Playbookz do it all for you.

3. 🧑💻 Google’s AI Coding Agent Jules is Out of Beta

4. 📽️ Agency Finds Clever Way To Reduce Video Budgets Without Reducing Quality
Good news: You can stop hiring your friend’s 17-year-old nephew to do your video editing.
Edit Hunter is a talent placement agency that works with businesses of all sizes, finding and matching them with elite video editors from the Philippines. Companies that work with Edit Hunter have saved over 70% to those hiring US video editors.
Looks like there’s room in your budget for video content after all!
5. 🥷 Hackers Stole Google’s Customer Data
The latest hacker hit is… Google. The company’s Threat Intelligence Group confirmed a breach of one of its Salesforce database systems used to store contact information and related notes for small and medium-sized businesses. The data retrieved was largely publicly available and basic business information, like business names and contact details. (TechCrunch)
6. 💼 Upwork’s Two Acquisitions Expand Corporate Staffing Beyond Freelancers
Freelance hiring platform Upwork isn’t just for freelancers anymore. The company has acquired Bubty, a workforce management platform, and has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Ascen, a global compliance and employer of record (EOR) company. The acquisitions will help Upwork build out a new standalone enterprise-focused business. (TechCrunch)
7. 💵 OpenAI is Giving ChatGPT to the Government for $1
Everyone loves a discount. OpenAI is planning to offer its ChatGPT Enterprise product to U.S. federal agencies for $1 through the next year. The company has been working to deepen its ties to lawmakers and regulators in recent months and will open its first office in Washington, D.C. early next year. (CNBC)
