Good evening!
Did I tell you all about that party I went to dressed as a screwdriver? I definitely turned some heads.
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 🪐 SpaceX Snagged $17B in Wireless Spectrum for Starlink
SpaceX has struck a massive deal to acquire 50 MHz of mobile and satellite spectrum licenses from EchoStar for around $17 billion ($8.5 billion in cash, and $8.5 billion in SpaceX stock), aiming to power its Starlink direct-to-phone service. Of the cash portion, two billion of it will be made as direct cash interest payments on debt held by EchoStar. The licenses include AWS-4 and H-block spectrum, critical for expanding Starlink’s 5G reach. (Tech Crunch)
2.🙅 Your Growth Lever Isn’t What You Think
Hiring more staff won’t free you—it’ll bury you deeper. What you need is leverage.
From one CEO to another: Tricia Sciortino, CEO of BELAY, shares her playbook Rise Up & Lead Well on how the right Executive Assistant clears the noise so you can focus on strategy, growth, and leading with clarity.
3. 🫰Forbes Released Its Annual List of America’s Richest People
Here’s a doozy of a fact: a decade ago, it took $1.7 billion to make the Forbes 400 list. But today? It’s the minimum requirement. Forbess released its yearly list of the 400 richest Americans, revealing that their cumulative net worth now totals a record $6.6 trillion. Elon Musk remains at the top, ranking as the richest U.S. individual. (Forbes)

Nintendo scored a legal win securing a $2 million settlement against an individual behind “Modded Hardware,” a webstore that sold devices enabling piracy of Switch games. 7. 🏗️ Cracker Barrel Pressed Pause on Remodels After The Logo Fiasco
Restaurant chain Cracker Barrel has halted its restaurant remodeling plans and reverted its new minimalist logo following intense backlash over perceived abandonment of its vintage Americana identity. Only four of its 660 locations underwent testing before the brand doubled down on fireplaces, rocking chairs, and classic decor. Nationwide criticism (including from public figures) caused the company to put the kabash on the redesign agenda, at least for now. (CNBC)
