1.  🧒 Australia Will Get Minimum Age Limit For Social Media Use

Remember the days when you had to be a college student to use Facebook? Australia wants those days to make a comeback, but likely with a restriction around 14-16 years old. The Prime Minister announced plans to run an age verification trial before introducing age minimum laws for social media this year.

3. 🍪 Amazon’s Taking On Aldi & Target

Where’s the first place you go for budget-friendly groceries? Well, Amazon really wants it to be them with their new line of generic-brand groceries. The “no-frills” private label brand, Amazon Saver, has most items priced at less than $5 and is an attempt to compete with groceries Aldi and Target.

That’s over a gigawatt of electricity, in case you were wondering. It’s in large part due to the electricity demand from artificial intelligence. Oracle is designing the new data center in an undisclosed location, but has already acquired permits for three small nuclear reactors to be built.

6.  🥫 Campbell’s is Dropping ‘Soup’

The 155-year-old Campbell Soup Company announced plans to drop “soup” from its corporate name, rebranding as The Campbell’s Company. The move is to focus on Campbell’s other snack brands, including Goldfish, Snyder’s of Hanover, Cape Cod, Pepperidge Farm, and others.

7.  ☕️ Starbucks’ New CEO Has an Old Strategy

Brian Niccol has shared his plan to fix Starbucks’ declining sales: go back to being a coffee shop. Niccol found that Starbucks has drifted from its original mission and hopes that returning to being a “community coffeehouse” with comfortable seats, design, and clear “for-here” service will help.
