Good evening!
Happy National Dessert day! What is your favorite sweet treat? Mine are (at least two packs) of gluten-free Oreos.
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 🛍️ Walmart shopping is coming to ChatGPT
Customers will be able to link their Walmart account and tap a “buy” button in the ChatGPT app to purchase items like household goods and (non-fresh) groceries, with third-party sellers supported at launch later this fall. Sam’s Club members can use the agentic feature to plan meals and restock while chatting. Walmart says the partnership will personalize shopping and follows OpenAI’s broader agentic commerce push (Etsy/Shopify first). The rollout complements Walmart’s own AI assistant Sparky and internal adoption of ChatGPT Enterprise. (Bloomberg)
2. 🤖 AI Workflows Begin to Replace Legacy Data Teams at Growth Companies
If you’re Series B+ or scaling past 400 employees, your data team can’t afford to work like it’s 2024. Slow, siloed pipelines bleed time and revenue.
Mammoth Growth delivers AI-powered workflows that replace outdated manual processes so you can unify, clean, and activate customer data across your stack in days, not weeks.
Your competitors are already moving faster. Why aren’t you?
3. 🎙️ Spotify brings video podcasts to Netflix in 2026
The streaming giant will debut a curated slate of Spotify-produced video podcasts on Netflix starting in early 2026, with additional genres and titles rolling out later in the year. Availability will begin in the U.S. before expanding to other markets; financial terms weren’t disclosed. Spotify says it now hosts over 430,000 video podcasts, with viewing growing 20× faster than audio since 2024 and 350 million users having streamed video - that is a 65% year over year surge! The move extends Spotify’s reach beyond its own app into Netflix’s massive global audience. (Tech Crunch)
4. 🚀 Your Pipeline Depends on Search Visibility
If your SaaS brand isn’t mentioned on trusted industry sites, you won’t show up where it matters... in Google results and AI answers. That’s how competitors win deals before you’re even seen.
dofollow.com helps B2B SaaS founders fix this fast. Clients like Surfshark, Pitch, and Wiz already turned mentions into rankings, visibility, and revenue.
Here’s what you get:
✅ Mentions on the top 1% of sites in your industry (DR70–90+)
✅ A strategist who knows your SaaS audience inside out
✅ A real-time dashboard plus free replacements if a mention goes down
Search is shrinking and AI is rewriting results. If your buyers can’t find you, they’ll buy from someone else. Build your pipeline today!
5. 🦾 Sheryl Sandberg–backed Flint emerges to auto-build and update websites
Out of stealth with a $5M seed led by Accel (with Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners and Neo), Flint aims to generate and keep sites fresh by running its own A/B tests, learning from visitor behavior, and tailoring pages. For now, customers set parameters and provide copy; Flint then produces layouts, interactive elements, and optimization in about a day. Early customers include Cognition, Modal, and Graphite. The team plans content generation next and pitches the product to CMOs at fast-moving companies. (Tech Crunch)
6. 💰Google commits $15B to a new AI and data hub in India
The company will invest $15B through 2030 to build a 1-gigawatt data center and AI hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This is Google’s largest investment in India to date. The site will join a global network of AI centers and is designed to scale to “multiple gigawatts” over time. Google is partnering with Bharti Airtel and AdaniConneX, and plans a subsea cable landing to make the city a connectivity hub. The AI stack will include TPUs, access to Gemini, and agent-building tools. (Mint)
7. 🤑 Oura raises $900M led by Fidelity at ~$11B valuation
Smart-ring maker Oura has secured $900 million in new funding led by Fidelity, valuing the company at roughly $11 billion which is more than double its December round. The raise also drew participation from ICONIQ, Whale Rock, and Atreides as Oura scales its health platform and expands globally. The company says it has sold over 5.5 million rings and doubled 2024 revenue to $500 million, with 2025 sales projected to surpass $1 billion. (Yahoo Finance)
