Good evening!
Have you ever wanted to buy a web browser? Now might be your time.
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 💰 Salesforce Acquired Informatica for $8Bn
Salesforce announced its acquisition of cloud data management firm Informatica for approximately $8 billion, marking its largest deal since acquiring Slack. Informatica shareholders will receive $25 per share, a 30% premium over the previous closing price. The deal is expected to close early in Salesforce's fiscal year 2027. (Associated Press)
2. 🙅🏻♀️ "Lead Gen" Doesn't Work Anymore
The average company stays with a lead-gen service for only 2 months. Why? Because every lead-gen service stops at the opt-in. We don’t.
My Team builds & maintains end-to-end lead gen systems:
🎯 Hyper-specific targeting to attract your dream clients
🪣 Qualification filters so your calendar gets full with buyers, not browsers
🌱 Weekly nurture emails to turn cold leads warm, and warm leads into booked calls
The Truth: Only 2% of your market is ready to buy at any given time. You need something in place to nurture all those you leads have ever & will ever generate.
This isn’t theory, it’s a repeatable system that’s currently filling 30+ businesses’ pipelines with leads.
3. 🐕 Rivr’s Dog-Like Delivery Robots Are Joining Veho in Austin
Logistics company Veho is testing Rivr's four-wheeled, stair-climbing delivery robots in Austin to address the "last-100-yards" challenge in parcel delivery. The pilot involves a single robot operating under supervision, aiming to collect data and assess the feasibility of integrating such robots into regular delivery routes. (TechCrunch)
4. 🤫 Our CEO's Best Kept Secret
Most entrepreneurs don’t need more funding.
They need a virtual assistant who can 2X their output. But most VAs come from a sea of underqualified generalists who require more management than they save.
That’s why Go Carpathian only places battle-tested assistants from Eastern Europe — VAs who execute with precision, communicate clearly, and make your life 10x easier from day one.
No flaky freelancers. No painful back-and-forth.
5. 🦾 WordPress Formed an AI Team
WordPress established a dedicated AI team to oversee the development of AI products within its developer community. The team includes members from Automattic, Google, and web design firm 10up, aiming to coordinate AI efforts of its current 660 AI-related plugins and ensure alignment with WordPress's long-term goals. 6. ✂️ Meta Split Up Its AI Team to Build Faster
Meta is reportedly reorganizing its AI division into two new teams: an AI Products team, focusing on consumer-facing applications, and an AGI Foundations unit, dedicated to foundational AI models like Llama. 7. 🕸️ The Browser Company Might Sell Arc
