OpenAI paused its “Sky” AI voice after actress Scarlett Johansson shared her “shock and disbelief” that the synthetic voice is so similar to hers, especially after she declined CEO Sam Altman’s offer to be hired for the voice.

Nestle announced plans to launch a frozen-food brand, Vital Pursuit, aimed at consumers who are taking GLP-1 weight loss drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy. With 6% of U.S. adults currently in treatments, they’re getting ahead of the market.
6. 🛫 Boeing Invested $70M into Flying Cars
Boeing announced today it will spend 95 million CAD ($70M USD) on developing tech at its Wisk autonomous electric vertical takeoff and landing subsidiary—aka a car/plane/helicopter hybrid.
7. 🎨 Pixar Laid Off 14% of Workforce
Pixar Animation Studios is laying off about 14% of its workforce, or around 175 employees. The cuts have been imminent for some time as a step towards CEO Bob Iger’s mandate to focus on the quality of content, not the quantity.
