The AI app’s new features include a “Daily Brief” feature, a redesigned interface, access to a new AI video model called Gemini Omni, and a new personal AI agent called Gemini Spark. (TechCrunch)

Andrej Karpathy, the AI researcher who co-founded and formerly worked at OpenAI and previously led AI at Tesla, has joined Anthropic. Karpathy started this week and is working on pre-training under team lead Nick Joseph with a goal of starting a team focused on using Claude to accelerate pre-training research. (TechCrunch)
