Good evening!
Big day for the people of North Padre Island, Texas and Sharptown, Maryland – Amazon Prime is coming your way.
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 📚 Copyrighted Books Are Fair Use For AI Training, According to Anthropic Win
A landmark win for U.S. AI companies today. A federal judge sided with Anthropic in a major copyright ruling, declaring that AI developers can train on published books without authors’ consent. While other courts may not follow, the ruling marks the first of dozens of ongoing copyright lawsuits on fair use for AI. (NBC News)

3. 📦 Amazon is Spending $4Bn+ to Expand U.S. Prime Delivery
Amazon is expanding its same-day and next-day delivery services to over 4,000 small cities and towns across the rural U.S. The over $4 billion expansion will triple the size of its delivery network by 2026 and bring its Prime delivery service to millions of customers in places like Asbury, Iowa and Fort Seneca, Ohio. 4. 🙅🏻♀️ "Lead Gen" Doesn't Work Anymore
The average company stays with a lead-gen service for only 2 months. Why? Because every lead-gen service stops at the opt-in. We don’t.
My Team builds & maintains end-to-end lead gen systems:
🎯 Hyper-specific targeting to attract your dream clients
🪣 Qualification filters so your calendar gets full with buyers, not browsers
🌱 Weekly nurture emails to turn cold leads warm, and warm leads into booked calls
The Truth: Only 2% of your market is ready to buy at any given time. You need something in place to nurture all those you leads have ever & will ever generate.
This isn’t theory, it’s a repeatable system that’s currently filling 30+ businesses’ pipelines with leads.
5. 🦾 Google’s New Gemini Model Can Run on Robots Locally
Google’s DeepMind released a new language model called Gemini Robotics On-Device that can run tasks locally on robots without requiring an internet connection. The model, which controls a robot’s movements, allows developers to fine-tune the model to suit various needs using natural language prompts. (TechCrunch)
6. 🚕 Waymo Robotaxis Launched on Uber in Atlanta
The “Waymo on Uber” service, which is already offered in Austin, now covers about 65 square miles in Atlanta. The launch currently includes a fleet of “dozens” of Waymos and, if successful, will expand the fleet overtime. Uber users can set their preferences in the app to increase the chances of being matched with a Waymo. (TechCrunch)
7. 💬 Verizon’s Using Gemini AI to Solve ‘Complex’ Customer Issues
Verizon is trying to streamline its customer service experience with a new “AI-powered Verizon Assistant” that aims to help consumers “manage upgrades, add new lines, ask billing questions, take advantage of savings, and more” all utilizing Google’s Gemini AI. (The Verge)
