Good evening!

If you’re in India, you’re getting a visitor from Google real soon.

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1. IBM Rolled Out New Chips & Servers to Simplify AI

New Nvidia and Intel competition in town. IBM introduced its new Power11 line of data center chips and servers, marking the company’s first major update to its “Power” line of chips since 2020. The new offering is aimed at simplifying AI inference (not training), particularly for specialized sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare. (Reuters)

3. 🥖 Mistral is in Talks to Raise $1Bn

Mistral is one of the strongest players in the European AI landscape with a focus on open-weight LLMs, like its Le Chat chatbot. (TechCrunch)

4. 😌 Set it & Forget it, Affordable SEO

Most SEO agencies will charge you $5,000 a month, promise the world, and deliver nothing but a confusing report and disappointment. Ranked is the exact opposite.

These guys are almost too good to be true, but they’re actually amazing. We use them ourselves, and the results speak for themselves:

  • Real SEO that works — weekly content, site optimization, and quality backlinks

  • Full transparency — clear deliverables and easy-to-read reports

  • No BS contracts — all plans are month-to-month, starting at just $99/month

I know what you’re thinking: “$99? Is it a scam?” Nope. Just a team that figured out how to make SEO actually affordable and effective.

5. 🇮🇳 Google is Bringing AI Mode Outside the U.S.

AI Mode is getting stamps on its passport. After a successful rollout in the U.S., Google announced that users in India will now have access to AI Mode in Search. The chatbot-style search feature is still only available in English for now. (The Verge)

6. 💬 OneText Raised $4.5M from Y Combinator & Khosla

Startup OneText has raised $4.5 million in seed funding from Y Combinator and Khosla Ventures to build a text-based shopping assistant. The company is building a “text-to-buy network” that lets shoppers complete purchases via text message. (TechCrunch)

7. 🖥️ Windows 11 Beat Windows 10 as Top Desktop OS

We all get old and retire at some point. Including Windows 10, it seems. As of July, reports show that Windows 11 holds over 52% of global desktop OS market share, beating Windows 10’s 44.6%. The overtaking was expected as Microsoft’s end-of-support deadline for Windows 10 (October 2026) approaches. (PCWorld)
