New unicorn sighting. AI law startup Norm is turning heads after its latest $120 million Series C funding round led by Khosla Ventures, valuing the almost three-year-old startup at $1.2 billion. The company is known for its AI-native law firm, Norm Law, that uses the company’s own AI agents, employs human attorneys to supervise them, and offers legal services to enterprise clients (billed on outcomes rather than hourly). 5. 🤝 Claude Cowork Expanded to Mobile & Web
Anthropic’s Claude Code-style agent for general knowledge work is coming to your phone. Launched as a desktop app in January, Claude Code is now available on web and mobile for Max subscribers. With the update, users can start a task from their desk, get status updates on their phone, and pick up the finished output later, even if their laptop is closed. (TechCrunch)
And its stock tanked, as a result. The EV maker is selling 75 million new shares of its Class A common stock to the public to fund equity contributions tied to a Department of Energy loan. At Monday's closing price of $20.14 a share, the share sale would generate approximately $1.51 billion in proceeds, but the offering is expected to be priced after today’s market close. (Quartz)

Can Figma become more than just a design platform? It sure seems set on trying. The company has just acquired the team behind Y Combinator-backed vibe-coding startup Bud (formerly Orchids). Under the deal, both Bud and Orchids will shut down by July 18, but Figma hasn’t specified how it aims to use the team. (TechCrunch)
