Starting today, some ChatGPT Plus users will be able to reenact the 2013 Spike Jonze film Her. OpenAI began rolling out the AI chatbot’s Advanced Voice Mode today with a rollout to all Plus users planned for the Fall.

5. 🚙 California’s DMV is Using Blockchain
California’s Department of Motor Vehicles has found a unique way to prevent fraud: simply upload 42 million car titles to the blockchain. The move will allow more than 39M Californians to claim and access their vehicles through a mobile app in early 2025, a first for the U.S.
6. 💺 You Can Soon Fly Spirit Business Class
Budget carrier Spirit Airlines, known for charging extra fees to breathe air on a flight, is introducing business-class seating. The premium “big front seat” option consists of two pairs of wider seats at the front of the cabin with additional legroom.
7. ☕️ Starbucks App Had a Major Outage
Coffee retailer Starbucks was hit by an app outage today, leaving customers unable to place a mobile order. The outage was reported across major cities – including New York, Boston, Washington, Chicago, and Dallas – and happened at the same time Microsoft reported an Azure outage (unclear if related).
