7. 🚜 AV Startup Pronto AI Acquired Off-Road AV Rival SafeAI
Autonomous vehicle startup Pronto.ai has acquired SafeAI, expanding its self-driving capabilities in off-road vehicles used in construction and mining sites. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed (though rumored to be in “the millions”), but the bulk of SafeAI’s 12-person engineering team and its IP will move over to Pronto. (TechCrunch)
