Good Evening!

We’ll be off the rest of the week to recharge and spend time with our families. Rest assured, we’ll be back in your inbox on Monday. From our team to yours, hope you’re having a happy holiday season!

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1. 🛡️ ServiceNow is Buying Cybersecurity Startup Armis for $7.75Bn

This feels secure. Enterprise software maker ServiceNow has agreed to buy cybersecurity startup Armis for $7.75 billion. The deal marks the software company’s biggest deal ever in an effort to help counter rising cyberattacks driven by AI adoption. The deal will help the company integrate Alphabet-backed Armis’ security features, such as device scanning and threat detection. (Reuters)

5. 🚙 Amazon’s Recalling 332 Zoox Vehicles

Well, this seems like a good reason for a recall. Amazon’s self-driving unit Zoox is recalling 332 vehicles in the U.S. over an Automated Driving Systems software error that may cause the vehicles to cross or stop in front of oncoming traffic. (Reuters)

6. 🇺🇸 U.S. Banned New Foreign-Made Drones and Components

The FCC has added foreign-made drones and their components to its “Covered List,” making them prohibited to import into the U.S. due to posing “an unacceptable risk to the national security of the United States.” Don’t worry though, the ban doesn’t affect old drones, so you can still continue using devices you’ve already purchased or sell models that were already approved. 7. 🗣️ Amazon’s Alexa+ AI Assistant is Getting More Integrations

Amazon’s AI-powered digital assistant Alexa+ is getting more friends. The new integrations will now allow the assistant to work with Angi, Expedia, Square, and Yelp starting in 2026, joining existing integrations with Fodor, OpenTable, Suno, Ticketmaster, Thumbtack, and Uber. (TechCrunch)
