What you missed today

Good evening!

If you’ve got any big mail campaigns planned, better do it soon. It might be getting more expensive soon.

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1.  👋 OpenAI Loses More Execs

Yesterday, OpenAI’s CTO Mira Murati announced her departure. Soon after, OpenAI’s Chief Research Officer Bob McGrew and Vice President of Research Barret Zoph also announced their decisions to leave the company. They’re not the only ones to exit in recent months, pointing toward a tough path to growth for the ChatGPT-maker.

2.  🥷 CEO's Secret Newsletter Weapon

They handle the content, strategy, and sending for fast-growing brands like yours. And with packages starting at $1k/month, there’s never been a better time to tap into the potential of your email list.

3. 📬 USPS Wants 5 Stamp Price Rises in 3 Years

Talk about an ambitious future plan. The United States Postal Service announced that the First-Class postage, currently at 73 cents, will go up five more times throughout 2027. The next price hike is planned for July 2025 and will repeat “each January and July thereafter.” Specific prices weren’t mentioned.

4.  🫥 Brands Are Losing Consumer Attention

New industry research shows that 30% of consumers trust influencers more than they did six months ago. If you’re not engaging in influencer marketing, your brand is at risk of getting left behind. But you don’t have to do it all alone. Saral’s proven process can help you automate influencer outreach and promotions without getting overwhelmed.

5. 🔥 BioAge Labs Opens With $198M IPO

Biopharmaceutical company BioAge Labs opened on the Nasdaq today 25% above its initial public offering price. The California-based developer of weight loss drugs surged to over $22/share today, a good start for the company to get a slice of the rising GLP-1 market.

6.  🇫🇷 Air France Is Also Adding Starlink

Following United Airlines’ lead to add free fast in-flight Wi-Fi for all passengers via Starlink, Air France announced today it’s adding the high-speed connectivity service in 2025 – but only for ‘Flying Blue’ customers, the company’s free frequent flier program.

7.  🍦 Wendy’s Offers A Deal For McDonald’s Broken McFlurry Machines

If your local McDonalds has the McFlurry (ice cream) on the menu, there’s always a good chance that the machine is broken. Which is a great opportunity for a competitor like Wendy’s to come in with a counter-product. Enter: McBroken, a website that tracks ice cream machine outages and offers a $1 deal on Wendy’s Frosty alternative.

Bonus. CEO Tip Of The Day

According to a new survey, 73% of Amazon’s 2,585 employees said they are considering looking for a new job following the full-time return-to-office order. Here’s what you should keep in mind if you’re planning a similar return.
