Good evening!
Do you think software releases make more sense when they’re named: by the version they represent or the year they’re launched? Apple would love to know.
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 📰 The New York Times and Amazon Reached an AI Licensing Deal
Almost two years after suing OpenAI and Microsoft for copyright infringement, The New York Times has entered into a multi-year agreement allowing Amazon to use its editorial content to train its AI models and integrate into produces like Alexa. It marks the Times’ first AI licensing deal and will include its news articles, recipes, and sports coverage. (Reuters)

4. 📈 Fully managed, automated, white-hat SEO
Most SEO agencies will charge you $5,000 a month, promise the world, and deliver nothing but a confusing report and disappointment. Ranked is the exact opposite.
These guys are almost too good to be true, but they’re actually amazing. We use them ourselves, and the results speak for themselves:
Real SEO that works — weekly content, site optimization, and quality backlinks
Full transparency — clear deliverables and easy-to-read reports
No BS contracts — all plans are month-to-month, starting at just $99/month
I know what you’re thinking: “$99? Is it a scam?” Nope. Just a team that figured out how to make SEO actually affordable and effective.
5. 🩺 Omada Health is Targeting a $1.1Bn Valuation in its Upcoming IPO
Digital health company Omada Health plans to raise up to $158 million in its upcoming IPO, aiming for a valuation of approximately $1.1 billion. The San Francisco-based firm offers virtual care programs for chronic conditions and intends to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "OMDA." (CNBC)
6. 🪙 Apple is Adopting Year-Based Naming For its Operating Systems
Apple is reportedly shifting its operating system naming convention to align with calendar years instead of versions, meaning the next iOS release will be called iOS 26 instead of iOS 19. The change aims to unify the naming across platforms like iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS, and is expected to be announced at WWDC in June. (The Verge)
7. 💪 Amazon Tapped Xbox’s Co-Founder to Lead its New ‘ZeroOne’ Consumer Team
Amazon is establishing a new team named ZeroOne, led by former Xbox co-founder J Allard, to focus on creating “breakthrough” consumer products. The initiative seeks to revitalize Amazon's hardware offerings following mixed successes with products like the Kindle and Fire Phone. (CNBC)
