Good evening!

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1. Ryan Breslow Returns as CEO of Bolt

Here’s some tea for your evening. Former CEO of fintech company Bolt, Ryan Breslow, is resuming his position after stepping down in 2022. It seems like a controversial decision as the CEO was accused of misleading investors and violating security laws by inflating metrics while fundraising the last time he was in charge. However, the company made a statement saying it was with the “unanimous approval” of the board. (TechCrunch)

Unlike its competitors, Alibaba stated that QwQ-32B is easier to train, has better reasoning, and is a better-performing model overall. Following this announcement, Alibaba’s stock rose by nearly 8%. 4. 🗞️ Need a newsletter for your business, but short on time?

5. 😮 OpenAI May Charge Top Dollar for Specialized AI Agents

Would you pay $20,000 a month for a specialized ChatGPT model? That’s allegedly the going rate for OpenAI. The non-profit has plans to create models designed for specific tasks, like software development. The $20,000-per-month tier would be aimed at supporting “Ph.D.-level research.” There’s no word on when these agents would launch, but investor SoftBank has committed to spending $3 billion on OpenAI’s agent products this year alone. 6. 🤞 CoreWeave is Hoping for a $4Bn IPO

IPO specialists estimate that cloud-computing startup CoreWeave hopes to raise at least $3.5 billion at a $32 billion valuation, based on the S-1 document that the company recently filed. While it’s unclear how many shares they plan to sell and at what price, something notable from the filing was that the three co-founders have already sold off much of their Class A holdings, a collective $488 million worth of shares. 7. 😬 Target Has a Long Boycott Ahead of Them

Starting yesterday, Target shoppers committed to a 40-day boycott, both online and in-store. The boycott comes at a bad time for Target, as the franchise faces rising prices. Target said Tuesday its sales declined in February, and it expects sales to only grow around 1% this year. (CNN)
