What you missed today

Good evening!

If there’s one thing you should take away from this issue, it’s that maybe the doomsdayers were right about buying up gold bars.

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1.  🍫 Nestle CEO Mark Schneider is Out

Nestle is replacing CEO Mark Schneider with former CEO of Zone Americas Laurent Freize, who has been on the Swiss foodmaker’s executive board for 16 years and joined the company in 1986. Schneider has decided to step down from his roles as CEO and member of the Board of Directors after eight years leading the company.

2.  💰 If You're Making over $75k, You're Overpaying Taxes…

It's a harsh reality: you don’t realize how much you’re overpaying taxes and how it eats into your hard-earned lifestyle, stunting growth and limiting possibilities.

But it doesn't have to be this way. I found Integrated Wealth Systems, which has helped dozens of brands and entrepreneurs grow their businesses and wealth. How? By making money, investing money, keeping money, and doing this with a team of experts!

Don’t let your lack of financial literacy or strategy cause you to overpay in taxes. Join IWS’s strategy and learn how to live corporate life (you don't have to move to Puerto Rico)!

3. 🛢️ Halliburton Was Hit By Cyberattack

Oil giant Halliburton was hit by a cyberattack yesterday which impacted business operations at the company’s Houston campus and some global networks – though Halliburton itself won’t confirm or deny it.

4.  ⚡️ Behind Every Great Brand...

...is an agency partner who came up with an impactful marketing strategy to grow it! Like Nike who worked with

Wieden+Kennedy on their infamous 1988 campaign "Just Do It" or Apple who worked with Chiat/Day on their "1984" commercial that shocked the world.

Be like Nike, Apple, & many other brands here:

5. 👑 A Gold Bar is Now Worth $1 Million

For the first time ever, the price of a bar of gold is worth a million dollars. The price of spot gold reached more than $2,500 per troy ounce – a record high. The average gold bar weighs 400 troy ounces. You do the math.

6.  🛩️ Starbucks’ CEO is Facing Backlash For Supercommute

People already aren’t happy with Starbucks’ new CEO Brian Niccol. Not because of his leadership or changes but because he won’t be required to relocate to the company’s HQ in Seattle. Instead, he’ll commute from his home in Newport Beach, CA – 1,000 miles away – on a corporate jet.

7.  🍔 Walmart+ Partners With Burger King

Will free Whoppers every three months and a 25% daily discount on Burger King orders help Walmart+ compete against Amazon Prime? Well, it’s up to consumers to decide as the benefit is the newest advantage to Walmart+’s $98/year subscription program.

Bonus. CEO Tip Of The Day

I’m gonna tell you something you probably don’t want to hear: you can’t fix everything. There will always be bugs and something on fire if you’re growing. Here’s why you should let the small fires burn.
