Well, this is one way to shock investors. Tokyo-based conglomerate SoftBank has sold its roughly 32 million shares – about $5.83 billion – in U.S. chipmaker Nvidia to help fund more investments in OpenAI, aiming for $30 billion in funding. As a result, Nvidia shares dipped 1.5% in early U.S. trading today. (Quartz)

3. 🍎 Apple cuts App Store commissions in half for mini-app makers
Not Apple giving mini-app makers a mini Black Friday deal! To attract smaller developers, Apple will halve App Store commissions from 30% to 15% for creators of “mini apps” which are lightweight, web-based experiences built with App Intents and App Clips to run inside apps like Messages or Maps. The change also expands payment and subscription flexibility for these developers. The update aims to lower barriers and encourage innovation. The new policy rolls out globally in early 2026. Accel Partners is known for their early bets on Facebook, Dropbox, and Atlassian… is this their next smash hit? Their latest round of fresh capital is $36.5 million towards vibe coding AI startup Code Metal, which allows software engineers to write code once, then automatically translate it into any other programming language.
