1.  🦾 Microsoft Launched Copilot Cowork in Anthropic Competition

⁠Anthropic invented Cowork, a product that wiped hundreds of billions of dollars off Microsoft’s market cap. Microsoft’s answer was to take the name, license the tech, and turn it into a Copilot feature… and today, it’s done just that. The tech giant launched Copilot Cowork, an enterprise AI agent with multimodal tools for non-technical workers. (Axios)

3. ⛔️ Amazon Won a Court Order to Block Perplexity’s AI Shopping Agent

Amazon doesn’t want these sales. A federal judge temporarily blocked startup Perplexity from accessing Amazon’s site with its Comet artificial intelligence browser. Amazon sued the AI startup in November, alleging the startup took steps to “conceal” its AI agents so they could continue to scrape the online retailer’s website without its approval. (CNBC)

4. 🤑 Google Closed its Largest Acquisition Ever

It’s official. Google has completed its $32 billion cash acquisition of cloud-security startup Wiz, the largest deal in the company’s history. The deal comes after Wiz crossed $1 billion in ARR in 2025 and will strengthen Google’s ability to secure enterprise workloads across multiple cloud providers. (TechCrunch)

5. ⛓️‍💥 The B2B Agency Model Is Broken

Most B2B agencies overpromise and underdeliver. They charge a % of ad spend (so they’re incentivized to make you spend more, not make more), lock you into 6–12 month contracts, nickel-and-dime every new ad or campaign, and take a week to respond when you need something.

6. 👚 eCommerce Startup Quince Hit a $10Bn Valuation

AI startups aren’t the only ones hitting major valuations. Direct-to-consumer retailer Quince has raised a $500 million Series E round at a $10.1 billion valuation. The round was led by previous investor Iconiq and comes less than a year after Quince’s $200 million Series D at a reported $4.5 billion valuation. (TechCrunch)
