1. 😬 Shopify Had an Hours-Long Outage
If there’s one business who definitely shouldn’t go down on Cyber Monday… it’s Shopify. Unfortunately, the eCommerce provider was hit with an hours-long outage with select merchants having issues logging into Shopify while others were unable to access point-of-sale systems – a critical tool needed on one of the biggest shopping days of the year. 3. ☁️ AWS Will Let Clients Customize AI Models For $100k/Yr
If you’ve got a cool $100,000 to drop annually, Amazon’s got the product for you. Its new Nova Forge offering from Amazon Web Services gives organizations access to Amazon’s AI models in various stages of training so they can incorporate their own data earlier in the process. The results with Nova Forge will lean more heavily into the data that customers supply and will provide the option to refine open-weight models. (CNBC)
4. 🎟️ Eventbrite is Being Acquired by Bending Spoons for ~$500M
This is one big event. Global event ticketing marketplace Eventbrite entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Bending Spoons, owner of AOL (pending), Brightcove, Evernote, Meetup, Vimeo, and WeTransfer among many others. The all-cash transaction is valued at approximately $500 million and will help Eventbrite “accelerate innovation and strengthen its tools and resources.” (Bending Spoons)
5. 👀 Want More Leads?

6. 📱 Nothing is Opening a Community Investment Round of $5M
Nothing is testing its community loyalty. The hardware maker is letting its user base buy its stock as part of a new community investment round of $5 million. The new round, which opens on December 10, will enable consumers to buy the company’s shares at its Series C valuation of $1.3 billion. (TechCrunch)
