Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1. 🚕 Self-Driving Taxis are Landing in Three More Cities

Waymo continues to launch its robotaxis in major cities across the country, with the newest locations being Detroit, Las Vegas, and San Diego. The announcement accentuates Waymo’s recent evolution from vehicle technology developer to commercial enterprise. The CEO also stated the company’s intent for accelerated growth, saying that “by the end of 2026, you should expect us to be offering 1 million trips per week.” (TechCrunch)

2.🔪 Don’t Let SOC 2 Kill Your Startup

A startup was thriving—steady growth, happy customers, investors circling. Then a big client asked for SOC 2.

They chose a big platform: endless tasks, confusing checklists, engineers pulled off product. Deals stalled. Competitors moved in. Those competitors? They used Delve.

Fifteen hours later, they were audit-ready and closed the deal. The first startup never recovered.

Don’t be that startup. Delve automates compliance—SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS and more—ready in days, not months.

Today, compliance is done in Delve.

3. 🤝 Amazon is Partnering With OpenAI in $38 Billion AI Infrastructure Deal

Two of the biggest names in tech have made a multibillion-dollar artificial intelligence deal. OpenAI agreed to buy $38 billion worth of capacity from Amazon Web Services. The first phase of the deal will happen immediately, with OpenAI using existing AWS data centers. Down the line, Amazon will expand that infrastructure for the AI firm. It’s also one of OpenAI’s biggest moves away from Microsoft, which, until recently, was the company’s exclusive cloud provider. (CNBC)

4. 🤯 The hard truth: 90% companies don’t leverage their data for advanced insights.

Whether you’re tracking CAC payback, retention cohorts, or contribution margin, this company will take you from fragmented spreadsheets and broken dashboards to a governed, AI-ready data platform.

5. 💊 Kimberly-Clark Bought Out Tylenol Maker in $48.7B Deal

Kimberly-Clark Corp. agreed to buy out Kenvue, the maker of Tylenol. The cash-and-stock deal has an enterprise value of about $48.7 billion and will create one of the country’s biggest consumer health goods companies. Kenvue has been struggling ever since spinning off from Johnson & Johnson a few years ago, and the company also replaced their CEO last July. (Bloomberg)

6. 🍎 Expect Big Plans From Apple Next Year

2026 officially marks Apple’s 50th anniversary, and they have every intention of making it known. The tech giant is expected to roll out a ton of major hardware upgrades, including a foldable iPhone, new smart-home devices, and (finally) a Siri upgrade. The next year could definitely shape up to be a make-or-break year for Apple, but they’re off to a good start with what’s expected to be a $140 billion holiday quarter. (Bloomberg)

7. 🥑 Whole Foods Might Get a Whole Lot More Amazon…ish

The grocery chain known for stocking natural, organic food is undergoing “Amazonification,” by testing the addition of ‘everyday’ items like Doritos and Pepsi. To maintain Whole Foods’ reputation of stocking higher-priced, gourmet food, the grocer is experimenting with ShopBots, or a group of robots that will fetch your Tide Pods from the backroom for customers after they order them off the Amazon app. The shift is an attempt to attract a wider audience of shoppers, but critics are worried that it’ll weaken Whole Foods’ core identity.
