Microsoft launched its first cybersecurity-specialized model alongside a new AI cybersecurity platform at a small event in San Francisco today. MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, a name that rolls right off the tongue, is a model that’s built “to find challenging vulnerabilities in complex codebases.” (TechCrunch)

3. 🤖 Ilya Sutskever’s Safe Superintelligence is Partnering With Nvidia
After two years in stealth, Safe Superintelligence, the AI lab founded by former OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever, announced a long-term partnership with Nvidia. The deal, which includes an undisclosed investment, will give Safe Superintelligence (SSI) access to Nvidia’s Vera Rubin GPU platform, which will increase the startup’s compute resources “by an order of magnitude.” (TechCrunch)

In the lawsuit, three plaintiffs claim they were tricked into downloading and installing a fraudulent crypto wallet app called Sparrow Wallet, leading them to collectively lose more than $1.8 million. 6. 🛰️ Amazon’s Moving Forward on its New Satellite Network For Mobile Phones
Amazon’s coming for SpaceX’s Starlink service. The tech giant filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission for a license to operate a new network of 5,105 satellites that would provide service to mobile phones, with plans to start launching them in 2028. (TechCrunch)
