What you missed today
Good evening!
Well, that was a wild weekend. Hope you had a better weekend than CrowdStrike employees, airline workers, and Joe Biden…
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 🛬 Delta is Still Canceling Flights
Three days after the CrowdStrike outage impacted over 5,000 flights worldwide, Delta Air Lines is still struggling. The airline has canceled more flights than any other airline—about 60% of all flights canceled by all airlines worldwide.
2. 📈 Get In Front Of Ready-To-Buy Customers
Imagine showing your product/service to people who just told you they want to buy it... instead of interrupting cat videos on someone's feed hoping the person cares about your product/service.
Ditch those low-converting social ads for high-intent search ads!
FIRST CLASS ADS will help you capture that demand with highly profitable Google Ad campaigns backed by $50,000,000+ in revenue driven for clients.
3. 💸 Costs From Global Outage Could Top $1 Billion
The largest IT outage in history isn’t cheap. A few lines of bad code could add up to costs of over $1 billion in lost business and interruptions. Whether or not CrowdStrike will foot the bill is TBD… but it’s probably a bad time to be a CrowdStrike lawyer.
4. 🛠 Things Worth Checking Out

5. 🇺🇸 Markets Are Reacting to Biden Dropout
Yesterday, Joe Biden withdrew from the U.S. presidential election, putting his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris. While Wall Street has been predicting the “Trump trade,” the momentum could be slowing.
6. 🇰🇷 Samsung Employees Rallied in South Korea
Samsung employees have been on an indefinite strike since earlier this month, but today about 1,200 workers from the National Samsung Electronics Union (NSEU) rallied and marched along the Giheung campus in South Korea. The reason for the rally and strike? A desire for better working conditions and higher pay.
7. 🍿 AMC Reached New Refinancing Deal
Theater chain AMC said today that it’s reached an agreement with creditors that extends up to $2.45 billion of debt maturities from 2026 to 2029. The agreement also allows AMC to reduce debt by $464 million by converting exchangeable notes into equity.
