5. 📅 Apple’s Doing Something on March 4
…we just don’t know 100% what. The tech giant is hosting a “special Apple experience” in NYC on Wednesday, March 4 at 9am ET, instead of its usual events at the Apple Park location. Rumors say it could be anything from a new low-cost MacBook line, to the iPhone 17e, to a new base model iPad, to a preview of the new AI-infused Siri. (The Verge)
6. 🤑 Ricursive Intelligence Raised $335M at a $4Bn Valuation in 4 Months
Founded by renowned AI engineers Anna Goldie and Azalia Mirhoseini, Ricursive Intelligence just raised a $300 million Series A round at a $4 billion valuation led by Lightspeed, just a couple months after raising a $35 million seed round led by Sequoia and just four months after launching the company. Ricursive is building AI tools that design chips, not the chips themselves, which makes them fundamentally different from nearly every other AI chip startup. (TechCrunch)
7. 🎥 Apple is Launching an Integrated Video Podcast Experience
Watch out Spotify and YouTube, there’s a new way to watch video podcasts (soon). Apple announced its launching a new integrated video podcast experience to Apple Podcasts this spring, allowing users to switch seamlessly between watching and listening to shows from the same feed, putting the podcast app more in-line with its competitors which have leaned into video podcasting.
