The new terms solve an important issue that was flagged after OpenAI signed an up-to-$50 billion deal with Amazon. The new deal gives Microsoft a non-exclusive license to OpenAI IP for models and products through 2032. (TechCrunch)

6. 🌕 Meta Inked a Deal For Solar Power at Night
Electricity for AI models no longer has a curfew. Meta signed an agreement with startup Overview Energy that may result in a thousand satellites powering data centers at night. Overview, which emerged from stealth in December, is developing spacecraft that collects plentiful solar power in space then converts that energy to near-infrared light to beam it at large solar farms to convert to electricity.
