1.   U.S. Stocks Will Trade 22 Hours A Day

They’re working late ‘cause they’re stock traders. The New York Stock Exchange announced plans to extend its weekday trading on its U.S. equities market to 22 hours a day. The change would mean the NYSE Arca would allow trading from 1:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

3. 🚕 Waymo Closed A $5.6Bn Series C Round

Autonomous vehicle company Waymo has closed a $5.6 billion Series C funding round led by parent company Alphabet. The round was joined by Andreessen Horowitz, Silver Lake, Fidelity, Tiger Global, Perry Creek, and T. Rowe Price.

Americans are getting more food safety issues. A major recall issued by BrucePac Foods based on the discovery of listeria has led to customer alerts at Costco, Walmart, Trader Joe’s, Amazon, and more – millions of pounds of meat have been recalled in total.
