1.  ✌️ Nvidia Is Replacing Intel In Dow Jones

AI chips are in, PC chips are out (just a little bit). And as a result, Nvidia is tapping in for its rival chipmaker Intel in the Dow Jones Industrial Average on November 8. Nvidia shares have claimed over 170% this year so far, while Intel shares have fallen by more than half in the same time period.

6. 💰 IRS Announced New 401(k) Limits

Have you started planning for 2025 yet? The Internal Revenue Service has. Today, the IRS announced an increase in 401(k) contribution limits for 2025 to $23,500 for the employee deferral limit (up from $23,000 in 2024).

If you or someone you know hasn’t had a surgery recently, you might not know that hospitals nationwide have been crippled by an IV fluid shortage due to Hurricane Helene hitting a manufacturing plant that’s responsible for 60% of the country’s IV fluid supply. Baxter Inc, which runs the IV fluid plant, is finally restarting production.
