2. ☀️ Tonight’s Massive Solar Storm Could Disrupt Comms
The U.S. government has issued its first severe geomagnetic storm watch in nearly 20 years. Radiation from a major amount of solar activity will hit the Earth’s magnetic field today and could cause power & radio comms issues throughout the weekend.
3. 🚑 Cyberattack Diverted Ambulances
A cyberattack on Thursday on Ascension, a St. Louis-based nonprofit network servicing 104 hospitals in 19 states, resulted in several of its hospitals having to divert ambulances. The attack also disrupted access to electronic health records, phone systems, and systems used to order tests & medications.

According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, two Hyundai models and one Kia model were the three most stolen vehicles last year. Six of the top 10 most stolen vehicles in America last year were Hyundai and Kia models.
5. 🤖 Apple is Revamping Siri
Apple’s focusing on making Siri better to compete with AI chatbot competitors like ChatGPT and Gemini. Siri does have the advantage of longevity and handling a good amount of tasks already, but she’s got some work to do.
