Now that TikTok is operating in the U.S. under American ownership, Apple has deployed technical restrictions to block iOS users in the United States from downloading other apps made by the video platform’s Chinese parent organization ByteDance including the popular Chinese version of TikTok, Douyin. 6. 😬 Anthropic’s Claude Found 22 Vulnerabilities in Firefox
As part of a recent security partnership with Mozilla, Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.6 found 22 separate vulnerabilities in Firefox over the span of two weeks — 14 of them classified as “high-severity.” Most of the bugs have been fixed in Firefox 148 (the latest version), though a few fixes will be covered in the next release. Oracle and OpenAI have abandoned plans to expand a flagship artificial intelligence data center in Texas as part of the Stargate project after negotiations dragged over financing and OpenAI's changing needs.
