Good evening!

If you’re one of the 72.2 million Americans planning to travel for the 4th of July… you’re making history (and you might want to read today’s last item).

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1. 🔮 Anthropic Launched its Economic Futures Program

AI is causing job losses worldwide, and Anthropic wants to track it. Today, the AI company launched its Economic Futures Program, a new research initiative on AI’s impacts on the labor market and global economy and to develop policy proposals to prepare for the shift. (TechCrunch)

2. 📳 The Secret to 10+ Inbound Sales Calls A Month

Most B2B buyers ghost cold emails and ignore ads. But they do read valuable content from people they trust.

That’s why we build authority-driven newsletters that not only grow by hundreds of warm leads/month, but also convert them into revenue-driving calls.

SaaS and agency-type service businesses are already seeing 10+ inbound calls/mo in under 45 days.

3. 🚗 Tesla Lost Two Key Executives

Tesla lost two execs recently. Omead Afshar, who led operations in North America and Europe, was reportedly fired by CEO Elon Musk while Milan Kovac, VP of the Optimus humanoid robotics team, left to “spend more time with his family abroad.” (The Verge)

4. 🙅🏻‍♀️ "Lead Gen" Doesn't Work Anymore

The average company stays with a lead-gen service for only 2 months. Why? Because every lead-gen service stops at the opt-in. We don’t.

My Team builds & maintains end-to-end lead gen systems:

🎯 Hyper-specific targeting to attract your dream clients

🪣 Qualification filters so your calendar gets full with buyers, not browsers

🌱 Weekly nurture emails to turn cold leads warm, and warm leads into booked calls

The Truth: Only 2% of your market is ready to buy at any given time. You need something in place to nurture all those you leads have ever & will ever generate.

This isn’t theory, it’s a repeatable system that’s currently filling 30+ businesses’ pipelines with leads.

5. 💙 RIP to Microsoft’s ‘Blue Screen of Death’

Kids these days will never know Microsoft’s Blue Screen of Death. That’s because the tech giant is ditching the notorious feature on Windows computers and replacing it with a new, simplified black-colored interface that will reduce reboots to “about two seconds for most users.” (CNN)

6. 💰 Jesse Draper’s Halogen Ventures Closed a $30M Fund III

Jesse Draper, daughter of famed VC Tim Draper, has closed a $30 million Fund III for Halogen Ventures. The fund aims to invest in early-stage startups building in the “future of family” – a continuation of the firm’s decade-long strategy of investing in consumer tech with societal impact. 7. 🇺🇸 July 4th is Set to Break Records With 72M U.S. Travelers

Nothing says Happy Independence Day like sitting on a highway in stopped traffic. AAA projects a record-breaking 72.2 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles from home during the holiday weekend (June 28-July 6) led by 61.1M road trippers – a 2.2% YoY increase and all-time high. (Quartz)
