If you’re in SF, you might start seeing Tesla’s robotaxi service out and about this weekend, using modified Model Ys with safety drivers. The invite-only rollout will cover San Francisco, Marin, East Bay, and San Jose. (Quartz)

6. 👋 Intel is Laying Off 24k Employees & Leaving Some Countries

Intel’s new CEO Lip‑Bu Tan confirmed plans to lose 24,000 jobs (25% of headcount), cancel “mega-fab” projects in Germany and Poland, and relocate Costa Rica operations to Vietnam. The moves follow Tan’s sharp turnaround strategy after the company posted a $2.9 billion loss on flat revenue in Q2. (The Verge)
