Good evening!

Good luck to anyone attending a Coldplay concert this weekend 🫡

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1. 🤝 Cursor Acquired Koala to Compete With GitHub Copilot

Anysphere, the startup behind the viral AI coding app Cursor, is acquiring AI-powered customer relationship management (CRM) startup Koala to bolster its competition with Microsoft’s GitHub Copilot. Cursor will bring on several of Koala’s top engineers to build out a dedicated enterprise-readiness team, but they won’t get Koala’s entire team and Cursor has no plans to integrate the startup’s core CRM product. (TechCrunch)

2. 📈 Set it & Forget it, Affordable SEO

Most SEO agencies will charge you $5,000 a month, promise the world, and deliver nothing but a confusing report and disappointment. Ranked is the exact opposite.

These guys are almost too good to be true, but they’re actually amazing. We use them ourselves, and the results speak for themselves:

  • Real SEO that works — weekly content, site optimization, and quality backlinks

  • Full transparency — clear deliverables and easy-to-read reports

  • No BS contracts — all plans are month-to-month, starting at just $99/month

I know what you’re thinking: “$99? Is it a scam?” Nope. Just a team that figured out how to make SEO actually affordable and effective.

3. 😬 ServiceNow’s $2.85Bn Moveworks Acquisition is Getting an Antitrust Review

ServiceNow’s planned $2.85 billion acquisition of enterprise AI startup Moveworks has reportedly hit a regulatory snag. The acquisition is currently under review for antitrust by the U.S. Department of Justice who issued a second-request for info which must be provided before the deal can move forward. (TechCrunch)

4. 😤 Your CRM Shouldn’t Punish You for Winning

I've found most CRMs reward growth by… raising your price. Every new user is an extra $1k/yr! Those 3,000 new contacts you got from that new webinar? That'll be an extra $5k/yr!

Well, Unlimited crm does the opposite:

$297/mo flat – no per-user or contact limits

All (non AI) features unlocked & included, always

Free 1-on-1 migration onboarding calls + 24/7 human chat

It replaces $19,200/year worth of tools for just $297/mo and never increases your platform costs, no matter how big you get.

5. 🙅 Meta Isn’t Signing Europe’s Voluntary AI Code of Practice

Meta has officially declined to sign the EU’s artificial intelligence code of practice because it is “an overreach that will stunt companies,” according to the company’s Global Affairs Chief. The EU has left it up to companies to decide if they want to sign the AI code, which creates a framework for complying with the official AI act. (CNBC)

6. 😰 Microsoft’s Constant Layoffs Are Creating a Culture of Fear

Around 15,000 jobs have been eliminated at Microsoft over the past couple of months and, according to a new Verge investigation with more than a dozen Microsoft employees, morale is at an all-time low and employees are worried that regular layoffs are the new norm with the company’s AI-driven direction. (The Verge)

7. 🛫 Delta Air Lines is Using AI to Scale Pricing

Your next flight price might be determined by AI. Delta Air Lines is implementing dynamic ticket pricing that uses AI to individually determine the highest fee you’d willingly pay for flights. Delta currently uses AI to influence 3% of its ticket prices and is aiming to increase that to 20% by the end of this year. (The Verge)
