Good Evening!

The last thing you’d probably want to deal with on a Friday is a lawsuit from Apple.

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1. 🤯 Apple is Suing OpenAI Over Trade Secret Theft

This is big. Apple just filed a lawsuit today against OpenAI over allegations of trade secret theft and breach of contract. The iPhone maker alleged the misconduct was a pattern of theft from OpenAI employees who previously worked at Apple and was directed by OpenAI’s senior leadership, including Chief Hardware Officer Tang Tan. 2. 🗑️ AI Won't Save You If Your Data Is Garbage

AI amplifies whatever you feed it–which means that bad data = bad decisions.

GrowthBench specializes in one thing: Fixing fractured marketing data infrastructure. With more experience than any other firm, they've helped companies like Nutrafol increase revenue by 60%.

Start with their free audit: They'll assess your data quality, identify the bottlenecks, and show you the exact path to fix it.

If your CDP is broken in an AI-first world, that’s a threat to your growth.

3. ✌️ Fidji Simo Stepped Down From Her No.2 Role at OpenAI

OpenAI’s No. 2 executive, Fidji Simo, is stepping down from her full-time role reporting directly to Sam Altman. Simo has been ongoing medical leave for a neuroimmune condition since April, which she says has been longer and harder than expected. She’s transitioning to a part-time advisory role instead. 4. ✍️ Marketing Teams Are Publishing More AI Content

...but editing is creating a bottleneck.

The drafts are piling up faster than your team can clear them. When there's no dedicated editorial layer, projects stall, deadlines slip, and your publish schedule suffers.

Proofed gives you a hand-picked team of editors built around your workflow, so the queue keeps moving and nothing sits. Lucid Advertising cut turnaround times by 50% after making the switch.

5. 🏭 Nvidia Supplier King Yuan Electronics is Investing up to $1.4Bn in a U.S. Facility

Taiwanese chip-testing company King Yuan Electronics (KYEC) is planning to invest up to $1.4 billion to establish a facility in the United States. KYEC is best known as a supplier to chipmaker Nvidia, and the investment will support operational growth to strengthen its position in the global supply chain. (Reuters)

6. ☁️ Bluesky’s Interim CEO is Now Officially CEO

After Bluesky’s first CEO Jay Graber stepped down in March, investor Toni Schneider took over as the social network’s Interim CEO. Now, according to Schneider, “the interim part of the title is gone.” He also said that the platform is working on “the ability to create smaller spaces and more private communities” in the AT Protocol ecosystem, aka the Atmosphere.
