What you missed today
Good evening!
It was only a matter of time before Meta launched this highly-anticipated feature…
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 🎯 Target is Rolling Back DEI Initiatives
Another one bites the dust. Target is the latest major corporation to roll back its diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. The retailer will end its three-year DEI goals, stop reports to external diversity-focused groups like the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, and end a program focused on carrying more products from Black or minority-owned businesses. 6. 🚫 Spirit Airlines is Banning Certain Clothes & Tattoos
Spirit Airlines is going to start enforcing a stricter dress code for passengers. The update prohibits attire and body art considered “obscene, offensive, or excessively revealing” including see-through clothing and the display of “exposed private areas.” Passengers who violate the guidelines may be denies boarding or removed from a flight. 7. 💳 Millennials & Gen Z Caused Amex’s Year-End Bump
Finally, something the millennials haven’t killed. Spending on American Express cards jumped 8% YoY in Q4, slowing from a 7% growth rate earlier in the year.
