Your Google Workspace subscription just got more powerful. Google is expanding access to its AI videomaking tool Flow, which was launched last may only to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers. Now, those with Business, Enterprise, and Education Workplace plans can access the Veo 3.1-run tool to generate clips based on a text prompt or images. (The Verge)
6. ✌️ Thinking Machines’ Co-Founders Are Leaving For OpenAI
Former OpenAI exec Mira Murati launched the startup Thinking Machines Lab in 2024 with co-founders Barret Zoph and Luke Metz. Now, Zoph and Metz are reportedly leaving Thinking Machines for OpenAI – though both held positions at the Sam Altman-led company in the past. So, I guess everything comes back around? (TechCrunch)
7. 💰 Database Management Firm ClickHouse Hit $15Bn Valuation
Everyone wants to be part of the AI boom. As a result, database management company ClickHouse just raised $400 million in a Series D round led by Dragoneer Investment Group, valuing the real-time analytics software provider at $15 billion. ClickHouse also announced the acquisition of Langfuse, an open-source platform that helps create, test and monitor large language model applications. (Reuters)
