Meta announced to employees today that it plans to “end a number of internal programs designed to increase the company’s hiring of diverse candidates.” Among the changes, Meta’s ending the company’s “Diverse Slate Approach” for hiring as well as putting an end to its diversity supplier program, its equity and inclusion training programs, and disbanding its DEI team.
