What you missed today
Good evening!
Friendly reminder that we’ll be OOO on Monday, but we’ll be back in your inbox on Tuesday. Hope you have a good weekend!
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 🌀 Typhoon Shanshan is Hitting Japan
The strongest typhoon to hit Japan this year made landfall on Thursday morning and has already killed at least five people. The storm’s winds have been so strong planes have had to abort their landings, and Japan’s latest airlines – All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines – canceled 600 flights today.
2. 😌 Content Management Has Never Been This Easy!
As you know, I used to run a marketing agency for years. So, I know how chaotic it can be managing multiple client campaigns with outdated spreadsheets and scattered data.
I learned that top marketing teams rely on Monday.com's Content Calendar Template to handle multiple projects easily.
From content campaign planning to tracking performance data and analytics, this template is built to make all of your content processes run smoothly.
Your team will love how easy it is to collaborate, assign work, automate mundane tasks, and stay updated in real-time.
3. 🇧🇷 Brazil is Suspending X Nationwide
The feud that has been going on for months between Brazil and Elon Musk over free speech has come to a head today after Brazil’s Supreme Court ordered the suspension of X after Musk refused to name a legal representative in the country.

5. 🩺 Google’s AI Will Be Able To Hear Sickness Signs
Are you actually sick? Google’s AI can tell. After training one of its foundation AI models with 300 million pieces of audio including coughs, sniffles, and labored breathing, Google is now teaming up with India-based Salcit Technologies to add the tech to smartphones to help those with poor access to healthcare.
6. 🧱 Lego is Pivoting To Renewable Plastic
Danish toymaker Lego said this week that it’s on track to replace the fossil fuels used in making its signature bricks with more expensive renewable and recycled plastic. It doesn’t seem to be hurting sales, though, as Lego’s H1 profit jumped 26% to roughly $1.2 billion.
7. 🧃 Capri Sun May Ditch Iconic Packaging
The news that rattled the Millennial community this week: Capri Sun, the juice company known for its iconic silver pouches punctured with a straw, is rumored to be debuting its drink in 12 oz plastic bottles this year. The change was reported by a popular snack Instagram account but has not been addressed by Capri Sun’s parent company Kraft Heinz.
