Good evening!

In case you weren’t sure, Anthropic wants you to know you shouldn’t create nuclear weapons using its Claude AI chatbot.

Here are the 7 things you missed today:

1. 🇦🇺 Accenture is Buying Australia’s CyberCX for ~$650M

Accenture is acquiring Australian cybersecurity firm CyberCX in its largest-ever cybersecurity deal to date at over A$1 billion (~$650 million USD). The move strengthens Accenture's presence in the Asia-Pacific region amid a surge in cyber threats following high-profile Australian breaches at telecom major Optus and health insurer Medibank. 2. 🪵 WOOD FOR THE NEXT GENERATION IS HERE

Wood has been the go-to in building for centuries, until now.

Introducing wood that doesn't come from trees: ACRE by Modern Mill. It’s made in Mississippi from upcycled rice hulls, agricultural waste that usually gets burned or dumped. The material stains like wood, looks like wood, but has much less maintenance needs.

The company is targeting to revolutionize a $500B+ building materials market, starting with siding, trim, decking and more. This is how the next generation builds →

3. 💴 SoftBank’s PayPay Applied for a U.S. Listing

SoftBank’s payments app operator Pay Corp has applied to list American depositary shares in the U.S. with schedule, size, and price for the public listing yet to be determined. That said, experts expect the offering to raise more than $2 billion from investors and could take place as soon as the final quarter of this year. (Reuters)

4. Not Enough Hours in the Day?

Entrepreneurs don’t fail because of bad ideas.

They fail because they spend 80% of their time on $10/hour tasks. Scheduling. Inbox triage. Admin. Research. Formatting. Busywork.

The problem? Most virtual assistants are undertrained, overpromised, and hard to manage. Go Carpathian places elite VAs from Eastern Europe — trained to handle your workflow with military precision. Fluent in English. Sharp thinkers. Fast learners.

Free up 40 hours a week and finally build the business you set out to create.

5. 😬 Anthropic Has New Rules to Avoid AI Safety Concerns

It’s a risky world out there with AI, and Anthropic is trying to do something about it. The Claude AI chatbot creator has updated the usage policy for its models with stricter cybersecurity rules and specifications on dangerous weapons people are prohibited from creating with Claude such as weapons, hackers, or disinformation. 6. 🇨🇳 China’s Launching SSDs as Small as SIM Cards

MicroSD cards are tiny but slow, whereas bigger storage solutions are fast but big. Chinese firm Biwin is launching a micro-SSD (or “mini SSD”) no larger than a U.S. penny and just slightly larger than MicroSD to provide the best of both worlds. (The Verge)

The state of Virginia has a plan to deploy fiber internet services to residents… but Starlink operator SpaceX thinks they should be doing it instead. SpaceX filed comments on Virginia’s final proposal claiming that they’re already in line to win over $3 million in grant money in the state to deploy a similar program. (The Verge)
