Good evening!
If you’re in Germany, Portugal, or Spain, try out TikTok’s new app this weekend and let us know what you think.
Here are the 7 things you missed today:
1. 🧠 Google Rolled Out Gemini 2.5 Deep Think to AI Ultra Subscribers
Google unleashed it’s most powerful Gemini AI model today… but you probably can’t try it yet. The model, Gemini 2.5 Deep Think, is designed for the most complex queries and available only to those subscribing to Google’s $250 AI Ultra plan. It’s based on the same foundation as Gemini 2.5 Pro, but increases the “thinking time” with greater parallel analysis. (ArsTechnica)
2. 📣 Wanna Get Featured in Forbes?
Pathos has introduced a revolutionary approach to PR for everyone from startups to F500 brands, offering you media placements in the world's largest publications (Forbes, Business Insiders, & many more...) without any upfront fees.
Their unique 'pay on results' model means your startup gets verified exposure before you spend a dime. Perfect for startups prioritizing cash flow and results. Gain the credibility you deserve with zero initial investment.
3. 🪦 Microsoft is Killing Windows 11 SE, its Chrome OS Competitor
RIP Windows 11 SE. Just five years after Microsoft launched the operating system on low-cost laptops, designed to compete with Google Chromebooks, the company is ending support for the OS. Support will end in October 2026 and the company won’t release its upcoming 25H2 update. (The Verge)
4. 📊 Analytics That Actually Answer Questions
GA4 drowning you in useless data? Heatmap is the profit-first analytics tool built for DTC and e-comm brands.
Pinpoint exactly where customers click, scroll, or drop off, and track every interaction’s revenue impact in real time.
Forget custom code and dev headaches. Get the clarity GA4 never gives you here.
5. 🗣️ Amazon Might Add Ads to Alexa+ Conversations
Alexa+ has started rolling out in early access to some U.S. customers with a broader rollout, including internationally, planned for later this year. But Amazon’s already trying to think of extra ways to monetize it and plans to have advertising play a role once people are engaging in more multi-turn conversations. (ArsTechnica)
6. 🌍 TikTok Launched ‘TikTok Pro’ in Europe
TikTok just launched a new version of its app called “TikTok Pro” in Germany, Portugal, and Spain, alongside its “Sunshine Programme,” a gamified nonprofit engagement system where users earn virtual donated points by interacting with charity content. The app removes ads, livestreams, and shopping to focus on curated, positive content. (TechCrunch)
Your next Uber Eats meal might have an AI-augmented menu. The food delivery service is rolling out new AI features across its platform including auto-generated menu descriptions, customer review summaries, and enhanced food photos alongside a live chat tool and payments for user-submitted photos.
